What hangs over 2026–27

The field is bigger, the margins are thinner, and every major thread begins before the first pick is made.

Plain-English methodology

How the values work

Each rest-of-season value uses the available Yahoo, ESPN, and Sleeper signals below and renormalizes their weights when a verified source is missing. The top player is anchored to a 10,500-point scale. During preseason, projections replace pace data instead of treating unplayed games as zero.

40% · YahooYahoo's 2026–27 points-league rankings provide the broad draft-market signal. They are rankings, not a claim about real-trade volume or Shootica's custom settings.
35% · ESPN modelESPN H2H-points rankings and published stat projections feed the preseason model. Shootica's core PTS, REB, AST, STL, BLK and TO weights are verified, but the new efficiency and bonus/penalty coefficients are still TBD; values remain provisional until the complete ESPN scoring setup is captured.
25% · SleeperSleeper draft-market data is used only when a current, verifiable basketball export is available. Until then this leg stays missing and the verified Yahoo/ESPN weights are renormalized.

Fairness bands: within 5% is even, 5–12% is a slight edge, and more than 12% is a clear edge. Trade Finder never suggests a deal more than 12% apart and excludes OUT or unvalued players.
